Climate Change has been considered one of the significant adversities that progressing cities are experiencing due to the limited adequacy in addressing its various implications towards a country’s advancement.

Based on the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR), the Philippines is one of the top ten most vulnerable countries affected by climate change. Being geographically located in a calamity-prone area, the country, and its people have suffered from the damages these natural calamities have brought.

Wherein the Philippines will primarily strategize the appropriation and mitigation through persevering low-carbon development and lessening energy emissions, transport, industry, agriculture, forestry, and waste sectors.

With this, Ridge to Reef can help the LGUs succeed in the timely and cost-effective implementation of the GHG Inventory. Ridge to Reef will support the staff of the LGUs and provide recommendations that are in the best interests of the GHG Inventory. Our project implementation approach will be fulfilled through the deployment of a highly qualified and experienced Team, the application of strong teamwork, sensitivity to the needs of the LGUs’ access to the home office support and resources of Ridge to Reef, close attention to detail, and high commitment to professionalism.

A pre-defined spreadsheet that encompasses all the categories of the emission sources will be used to encode the inventory data. The primary reference document for the conduct of this type of inventory is the IPCC Guidelines for Community-Level GHG inventories. In some cases, the Global Protocol for Community-Scale GHG Emissions (GPC) is also used.
